The General Motors Renaissance Center, built in the late 1970s, is one of Detroit’s most distinctive modern landmarks. The massive complex consists of seven interconnected towers surrounding a 73-story cylindrical central tower. Its enormous scale, geometric forms, and glass-and-concrete architecture create a striking contrast with Detroit’s historic skyscrapers. GM used it as its headquarters until 2025.
