The Giacomo Hotel in Niagara Falls, New York, is a distinctive historic hotel housed in the former United Office Building, completed in 1929. The building sat vacant for more than 25 years before being purchased for just $1 in 2004 and extensively renovated; it reopened as The Giacomo Hotel & Residences in 2010.
