Today, my wife had her citizenship ceremony at IRCC Kitchener. She actually had the chance to become a citizen with us two years ago, but waited until she turned 55 so she could be exempt from the language requirement. Back then, we had to attend the ceremony virtually due to COVID-19. Now, we are all Canadian citizens.
