We have been staying at our daughter’s home in Toronto. While taking a plate out of the dishwasher, my wife cut her finger. The wound was quite deep.

We first went to a walk-in clinic and showed the doctor her injury. The doctor said they couldn’t treat it there and wrote a referral for the emergency room. We went to St. Michael’s Hospital, where she received eight stitches. We were able to leave the hospital about three hours after we arrived. It was an unforgettable Christmas event.
