I attended a Sunday school event commemorating Reformation Day. When I showed a verse about the gospel, the children had to answer whether it was true or false. My card said that only special people can hear the gospel, not everyone. I thought it would be better to show the children a specific Bible verse that clearly explained its meaning, and have them read it aloud. I found the verse, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13)” It was a truly moving moment. When they read that verse aloud, I felt the Holy Spirit in them. They were so loving and adorable. I prayed that they would grow up firmly grounded in the gospel. Photo by Miyoung Eom.
